In an old Copenhagen apartment in the heart of Vesterbro, DEJ opened its first restaurant in 2019 with a dream of bringing new dining experiences to the Nordics.
At DEJ, we take Italian classics and give them new life with a Scandinavian touch. Just like in Italy, high-quality ingredients are the foundation of all our dishes, but at DEJ, we put our own spin on the classics by serving them in our colorful restaurants, accompanied by fresh cocktails and a social dining concept. Enjoy a pizza, pasta, or one of our other Italian specialties in cozy surroundings where both the food and the overall experience are carefully crafted.
If you have any allergies or dietary preferences, we are happy to accommodate them whenever possible. For example, our pizzas can be baked on a gluten-free crust, and we offer both vegetarian and vegan dishes.
DEJ has a casual atmosphere bursting with life and good vibes—whether you’re visiting for our iconic DEJ brunch, a festive after-work drink with friends, or picking up your Sunday pizza to go. On weekends, the music turns up in the evening as our rotating DJs visit the restaurants. Our locations offer much more than just á la carte dining, and we would love to host your next private event in our vibrant, floral surroundings.
